"Franklin D. Roosevelt." #8 Blog

Summary: FDR is now the 32nd president of the United States. He was elected 4 times, which is now a law that you can't be elected more than 2 times. He was hired during the times of WWII and lead America to victory. He was commander in chief and still had polio and we won, but he didn't do it alone of course. He had help from many of his "workers" and everyone else working in that cabinet. And just before WWII there was the great depression in the 30's, and he helped America through it. Many people recall that "FDR was one of the best presidents" "He was nice for what he did." He would do the fireside chats during WWII and keep people up to date with what was going on in the world at the time. FDR then was elected his 4th time in 1945 then died of a stroke on April 12. The world was shocked because of this.

Reflection: FDR was a good president and was different from most, being elected 4 times, having polio, going through WWII and the Great Depression. He even married his distant cousin and had 5 kids. He would also use a wheelchair because of the polio he had, he couldn't move his right leg or it was hard trying to move it. But he would never use it for pictures as he would always trying to look strong and not weak because he was the president. And it was shocking because no one really expected him to die, he was going on his 4th term the war was coming to an end soon and everything was ok. Then he dies and everybody is shocked about it.
